2005 Overview

Building Bridges: Cool Ideas, Sizzling Solutions

19th Annual National Low Income Energy Conference

June 14-16, 2005

Hyatt Regency Hotel, Phoenix, Arizona

Arizona stirs visions of enchanting culture, natural beauty, and leisure activities.  But beyond that come thoughts of a hot climate, resultant cooling needs and the impacts upon low-income consumers.

The theme of the 2005 Conference, Building Bridges: Cool Ideas - Sizzling Solutions, acknowledged the challenges unique to the Southwest while maintaining a national focus. Moreover, the theme emphasized the opportunities that present themselves when we are able to draw together vast amounts of expertise, experience, and commitment: opportunities to enter into new partnerships and develop more effective solutions. When we come together we are energized!
