NLIEC and NFFN partnered in presenting the NEUAC 2008, The National Energy and Utility Affordability Conference: Mile High Solutions, on June 16-18, 2008, at the Sheraton Denver Hotel in Denver, Colorado. More than 700 people attended that event, which marked the first time the two organizations have held one, seamless event combining the two conferences they had held on consecutive days since the mid-1980s. The 2008 conference was the largest single U.S. gathering to address the need for affordable home energy and other utilities for people with low income.
